Getting Paid

Summary

There is a default 30-day waiting period for new accounts before you can begin the Stripe Onboarding process (to reduce fraud). You will be unable to send payment requests or receive payments from your clients until Stripe onboarding is completed. However, you can request access to Stripe sooner by sending an email or making a request in Discord.

No matter if you are a Reseller or Agency, in order to request payments from clients, you will need to perform the following steps if you want to send and receive payments and receive payouts:

  1. Onboard your account/business into Stripe
  2. Setup your Tax Settings (head-office location)
  3. Create Products & Prices for your clients to purchase.
  4. Create & send Payment Requests for your client properties using the previously created Products & Prices.
  5. Review Stripe status, Dashboard, Requests, Transactions, and Subscriptions in the Stripe Payments section of the MyWordPress platform.

Prerequisites

None of the information requested by Stripe is stored by the MyWordPress platform. Stripe securely stores and manages all of that information on behalf of MyWordpress.
